Don Cannon or Merle?

Don Cannon or Merle?Okay, we might have Don Cannon alluding to some kind of JV with G if I'm reading between the lines correctly on the Cannon posts. On the other hand we have Merle travelling to Dryden and getting all excited over a woman or is it rumours of gold. Reading Merle stories is like going into a tomb and trying to decipher hieroglphics. I don't don't know what's going on with either story but atleast keep the Merle saga going as I do find it rather entertaining and would like to be around for the happy ending.
