You seem to be a great fan of Skippen. Well, he did do well for Mosaid and WiLan. To emulate their models, CIC will also have to spin off their revenue generating business. But this would be a mistake, because wilan and mosaid had manufacturing ops.Wilan was flat out of cash- they sold tehir office building to stay alive. Mosiad did quite well with their memory design contarcting business, they sold off (?) tehir memory testing manufacturing business. Certicom is a pure software play. Why would Certicom give up on 20 million dollars in current annual revenue to exclusively chase a relatively risky, legally expensive litigious IP business with little predictability as far, outcome, time, cost and potential gains go. Skippen (or the likes of him) have no control over the outcome. The IP angle will work well if Certicom scores a financially significant award in its favor- and uses it to coerce others into settlement
