RE: Merger Presentation on website
RE: Merger Presentation on websiteI agree that post-merger with NuStar that selling by an Aussie shareholder was a substantial weight on the share price. Then, the ASX share price did lead the TSX price lower. Not sure we're seeing the same dynamic here now. Hard to say which is leading, but right now I'd say it's Australia. Difficult to say that Australian share price is lagging. Best would be if the TSX and ASX share prices continue to leapfrog each other.
IAU.AX closed Monday AUD $.375 (or CAD .332)
EMP.AX closed Monday AUD $0.09 (or AUD .3825 @ 4.25x)
Emperor volumes were highest since merger announcement (5.3mm), and IAU.AX was also well above average volume. For Toronto listing to keep up, it should close today between $.33 and $.34. Good news is that it appears we may finally be out of the downtrend. Nearly a cup and handle formation, but the cup is just not big enough.
