I don't understand your optimism about the pulp market in this country. It seems that large pulp mill like we have in B.C. are going the way of the dinosaurs with the companies that own them running them into the ground and gradually closing parts of them as they wear out. There is little to no capital investment and the share prices, as expected, are dropping.
The world pulp market is moving towards small, specialty mills that produce pulp that is specifically tailored to meet the needs of a small number of discerning customers.
In this light, the divesture of the pulp mills seems to have been a smart move on the part of WFP and others.
What opportunities are you seeing in the pulp market for Canadian producers and which ones do you like the best?
