In a DoD publication a few weeks ago they talked about the CREW program, how the DoD "is initiating a development effort to counter the long-term, worldwide IED threat" and that no development awards had been made yet. They noted that development contracts will likely be awarded in first quarter of FY09 (ie Oct-Dec) and that they will be providing more details about acquisition strategies during a CREW Industry Day to be held Dec 4. Perhaps we'll hear more when that gets a little closer. Max
