Wesmile - President''''''''s Message

Wesmile - President''''''''s MessageYou can't be serious!  They are doing just fine!  Are you kidding? Do you know something the rest of don't know?

Here are the NR highlights for the last 4 months:

Maple Leaf names Chiang VP of public relations
Friday, August 03, 2007

non news event as far as I'm concerned she hasn't earned her salary yet

Maple Leaf sales warrant second greenhouse for 2008
Thursday, August 09, 2007

This is good. So many sales they need a second green house.  However since then we have heard nothing about this, nothing.
Here is a quote form the NR:
"Once financing for the new greenhouse is secured, work can be started. It is expected that the duration of the construction will be two to three months, in time for the 2008 spring cultivation."
At this point they will not be able to have a spring cultivation because nothing has happened.  They haven't started the green house they haven't closed the financing.  It is going to take 2-3 months to build and 3 months to grow, thats 6 months, we will be into June/July before they have any seedlings from this green house, and that is if they start right now.  So tell me how are they going to fulfill they contracts they already have.

Maple Leaf Reforestation's Clarke resigns as director
Friday, August 17, 2007

glad he is gone - but a non news event

YELLOWHORN TREE BIO DIESEL AND COOKING OIL PROJECT
Monday, October 15, 2007

This is really good news, but it is just a MOU until the contract is signed it is a piece a paper.  As well, this was 6 weeks ago, what is the status, when is it going to be signed, when will process start?

$3 MILLION PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF UNITS
Tuesday, October 30, 2007

Finally 3 months after they say they need a financing they announce one.

Now here we are 4 weeks later and no further info, is the financing closed?  Did they raise the money, I hope they did, it was a very small deal.  If they haven't, why?  Why is it taking so long?  If the 70 year MOU is so good I would think they could have closed the financing in a day or two, not in a month or 2.

So tell Wesmile do you honestly think this is a good news flow, Raymond said more in his president's message than in the last 4 months of news releases.

I still am holding but with every passing day, I wonder why.
