RE: A balanced approachHarlan's leadership (or lack of, whatever you want to call it) at YZC killed our share price rise in spring of '06, and has done nothing but accelerate our losses in 2007.
In my opinion, it all began with the blunder of mining cost miscalculation for Wolverine. With the exception of smallish upticks in our SWN shareprice, the investment community never really gained back a footing with SWN management since that time. Anyone in this in nearly the past 2 years is now underwater, or selling at a sizeable loss.
Now, as YZC is staring at the bottom of the barrel, here we lag at just over 20c.
Whoever offered millions of dollars for the PP at 70c a few months back must be eating crow. Get 3x that many shares for equal money now. Who'd of thought? A great opp to average down for anyone ballsy enough.
Even though the NR's are good, the market doesn't care. The hope that something happens (and soon) on the JV front is about all we have left, all IMO of course.
Oh well.
