RE: Where is that big pumper: tbor? I guessBuffetpicks you’re an idi0t. I’m still here, hold a ton of shares and think this stock will end the year higher than it started the year, and by the way I don’t pump anything, I merely did a little math on the Bio-diesel, cooking oil contract. You should read all of my posts before you start the name calling. One thing you forgot is to look to the positive in the NR. Yes they lost 2 contracts, I have been harping for months on how there was no plan to grow all of the seedlings they contracted for.
The good:
“Maple Leaf's President & CEO, Raymond Lai ("Mr. Lai") is very pleased to announce that the "Maple Leaf Anti-Desertification Foundation Fund" was officially announced at an opening ceremony in Beijing on December 23, 2007. The opening ceremony was well attended, with numerous high Chinese Government officials being present. The ceremony was broadcast across China, Maple Leaf was recognized on the front-page of a Chinese magazine that publishes 1,000,000 copies of each edition and a DVD of the ceremony was provided to Maple Leaf. The video of the ceremony will be posted on Maple Leaf's website in the near future.”
“Mr. Lai is pleased to report that the Project agreement has been executed under the previously announced terms and is advancing ahead of schedule.”
In other words the MOU is now a signed contract.
“The application to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange ("FWB" -- Frankfurter Wertpapierb) in Germany is proceeding.”
The bad:
They lost 2 contracts for 15 million trees worth $1.8 million in sales.
Big Deal – Chit happens
By the way Buffet you idi0t here is a post of mine “pumping the stock” (Post #16954204) posted on November 11, 2007.
“YOU WANT THE TRUTH: YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH.
Sorry, that is one of the best Jack Nicholson lines.
I have to agree with both of you, I don't know if Raymond and Michael are playing games but I can tell you their news flow sucks. They say they need financing and 3 months later announce that it has been approved but it takes so long to do the deal that the stock price falls 20%. Who except a broker would want this deal? Of course the broker gets broker warrants. I am still waiting to find out how they are going to fill the contracts that they have already signed. The 6 million seedlings that they say they have at the bottom of every news release have been sold a dozen times over already. They have a current capacity of 18 million seedlings a year and they have contracts for 35 million how are they going to fill the contracts. Maybe if I wait another 3 months they will tell us.
On the other hand Veteran is right the stock price has come up dramatically since the new guys took over. I’ll give them a little more time before I pull the plug. I am up 400% on the original position. However I was stupid to help support the price and bought more in the $1.45 range.”
I think there was a pissing match going on. The egos at the top were too big. Michael and Raymond are obviously oil and water. Raymond has done a lot in the last 2 months and perhaps Michael feelings are bruised. However he, as Fudd, pointed out he did buy over 50000 shares last week between $0.58 and $.85. I will also be buying more this week.
