WITH A LITTLE MORE DETAIL ADDED

WITH A LITTLE MORE DETAIL ADDEDLOOK AT THIS GEO COMP FROM THE KODIAK PRESENTATION (PG6 OF 32 USE THE ZOOM IN FEATURES) LOOK TO THE N W CORNER OF ELMHIRST TOWNSHIP. NOTICE THE RED, THE BLUE AND THE LIGHT GREEN AREA THERE. THE RED BEING THE ELMHIRST GRANODIORITE PLUTON-THE BLUE BEING THE SAGE GABBRO-THE LT GREEN BEING THE FELSIC VOLCANICS. FINDINGS FROM THE PAST MITTO PROSPECT HAVE SHOWN THIS LT GREEN AREA OF N W ELMHIRST TO BE UNDERLAIN BY THE ELMHIRST GRANODIORITE PLUTON. SO WHAT YOU MIGHT SAY? https://www.kodiakexp.com/_resources/hercules/KODIAKPresentationJan8-08ver.pdf KODIAKPresentationJan8-08ver.pdf (application/pdf Object) FROM ARCHIVED RECORDS (NOTE MY CAPTIONS ARE ADDED IN BRACKETS) (_) Mitto Prospect. A. Mitto holds a gold-silver property in the northwest corner of Elmhirst Township, 22 km northeast of Beardmore.(NOW THE SAGE SOUTH EAST) Four en echelon veins striking 30-35 are hosted in andesite and dacite marginal to granodiorite and quartz diorite of the Elmhirst Lake Stock (SAME IDENTICAL STOCK AS THE HERCULES) possibly within a ductile shear zone.(A DUCTILE SHEAR ZONE IS WHAT THE HERCULES ZONE HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS, HENCE THE PARALLEL GOLD ZONES OF THE KODIAK HERCULES PROPERTY) The veins contain breccia zones of angular and sub-angular quartz clasts cemented in a sulphide matrix of fine-grained pyrite, sphalerite, galena and chalcopyrite. Coarser-grained euhedral pyrite and sphalerite occur in the breccia zones. Rare aggregates of pyrite and amphiboles are present. Sericitization and chloritization have locally altered the metavolcanics. Values up to 0.52 ounces of gold per ton were obtained from selected grab samples.(THIS JIBES WITH THE 15.15 GPT AT JACOBUS) (Assays by Geoscience Laboratories, Ontario Geological Survey, Toronto) Greenoaks Prospect. The Greenoaks Prospect is situated in the Townships of Elmhirst and Pifher, 27 km northeast of Beardmore. To the east of the property,(JUST TO THE SOUTH WEST OF JACOBUS) andesite, dacite and felspar porphyry have been intruded by granodiorite-quartz diorite of the Elmhirst Lake Stock.(THE GRANODIORITE-QUARTZ DIORITE HOST ROCK TO THE HERCULES GOLD LAY UNDER THE VOLCANICS BENEATH AND TO THE WEST OF SAGE LAND, EXPLAINS WHY GOLD IS BEING FOUND AT JACOBUS UNDER THE OUTER OVERLYING VOLCANICS JUST TO THE WEST OF THE GABBRO FORMATION BEING DRILLED FOR BASE METALS. THE DEPTH OF THE GRANODIORITES BENEATH CORRELATES WITH THE LOW GRAVITY MAG SIGNATURE IN THE AREA. THIS IS BENEATH THE LT GREEN AREA SOUTH OF THE MAG HIGH TO THE NORTH WHERE THE SAGE N E EXTENSION TO THE TO THE ELMHIST GRANODIORITE LAY-PICTURED ON THE MAP IN RED) A series of quartz veins and fracture fillings strike 110 and discontinuously follow the contact between the porphyry and the flow rocks. Veins and fractures contain chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and gold. Metavolcanics are silicified. THIS BODES WELL FOR GREENOAKS HELD ATV AND EVEN MORE SO FOR SAGE AS THE KODIAK HERCULES GEOLOGY IS SHOWING TO BE CONTINUOUS WITHOUT A DOUBT THROUGH THE VOLCANICS TO THE SOUTH OF OF THE SAGE MAG HIGH N E ZONE WHERE THE JACOBUS DRILL SITE AND CURRENT GOLD ASSAYS ARE CURRENTLY BEING WAITED ON HERE. FROM EARLIER TODAY TO LINK IT ALL UP AND PUT THIS ALL INTO PERSPECTIVE. I GUESS SOME HERE ARE NOT AWARE OF THE GEOLOGICAL AND GEO PHYSICAL STRUCTURE BENEATH THE OUTLYING DRILL COLLARS OF THE RECENTLY DRILLED JACOBUS PROJECT THAT COULD ACCOUNT FOR A FAVORABLE GOLD HOST JUST OFF THE SURFACE EXPOSED GABBROIC POLY-METALLIC MINERALIZED INTRUSION. SUBJECT: NOT PICTURING GOLD AT THE JACOBUS Posted By: tentongold Post Time: 1/31/2008 00:04 « Previous Message Next Message » NICKEL COPPER CAMP? CANT PICTURE GOOD GOLD GRADES COMING FROM THIS BASE METAL CAMP? NOT THE RIGHT GEOLOGY FOR IT? FROM OLD RECORDS Andesite, dacite and felspar porphyry (VOLCANICS) have been intruded by granodiorite-quartz diorite of the Elmhirst Lake Stock PICTURE THE GEOLOGY ON EITHER SIDE OF THE JACOBUS BASE METAL CAMP. TO THE RIGHT, THE ELMHIRST PLUTON (HERCULES GRANODIORITES) IN THE MIDDLE, THE JACOBUS GABBROS. TO THE LEFT, THE FELSIC VOLCANICS. FROM THE OLD RECORDS ON THE AREA, GRANODIORITES OF THE ELMHIRST STOCK OR (ELMHIRST PLUTON HERCULES ZONE) HAVE BEEN ENCOUNTERED BENEATH THE FELSIC VOLCANICS TO THE LEFT (WEST) OF THE JACOBUS GABBROS ALSO AN INTRUSIVE GEOLOGICAL BODY. PLUTONS ARE GENERALLY PEAR SHAPED UPWARD THRUST GRANITOID OR GABBROIC INTRUSIONS. HENCE THE ANGLED WALLS THAT LAY WELL BENEATH THE OUTER VOLCANICS AS IN THIS EXAMPLE DIAGRAM. https://www.stockhouse.com/bullboards/wraplink.asp?url=www.sdnhm.org/research/geology/images/sdnhm0451_400w.jpg https://www.sdnhm.org/research/geology/images/sdnhm0451_400w.jpg IF YOU DRILL JUST OFF THE GABBROS THROUGH THE OVERLYING VOLCANICS, YOU ENCOUNTER MORE GABBRO (DIPPING STRUCTURE) DRILL FURTHER STILL OFF THE GABBROS DEEPER DOWN THROUGH THE VOLCANICS, YOU ENCOUNTER THE BURIED PEAR SHAPED BODY OF THE ELMHIRST PLUTON ALL ONE AND THE SAME TO THE ELMHIRST STOCK KODIAK HERCULES GRANODIORITES EXTENDING DEEP BEYOND THE CURRENT JACOBUS DRILL SITES. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE SAGE ZONE N E OF JACOBUS WHICH IS ELMHIRST PLUTON GRANODIORITE BEDROCK EXPOSED AT THE SURFACE. TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE EXTENSIVE FAULTING AROUND THE JACOBUS AND THE OPEN TRANSPORT ROUTES THEY SERVE IN THE TRANSPORT OF MINERALIZATION THROUGHOUT THE INTRUSIVE CONTACTS AND ALTERED BODIES THEMSELVES, THERE MAY BE SOME REAL HOPE FOR GOOD GOLD RESULTS OUT OF THE REMAINING JACOBUS ASSAYS YET. JUST WHAT INSPIRED ME TO POST ALL THIS? AS I STATED IN A PREVIOUS POST. THIS IS IT AGAIN AS IT WAS POSTED. IT'S AMAZING HOW SO MANY NEW EXPLORATION COMPANIES (1O YEARS OR LESS) AND EVEN SOME OF THE OLDER ONES FAIL TO CONSULT HISTORICAL ARCHIVES FOR ANY IMPORTANT AND OFTEN LONG BURIED AND FORGOTTEN BITS OF INFORMATION ON THEIR NEWLY ACQUIRED LANDS. INFORMATION SUBMITTED FOR RECORD BY PROSPECTORS, COMPANY EXPLORERS AND GOVERNMENT GEOLOGISTS LONG DEAD AND GONE CAN BE OVERLOOKED AND ENTIRELY MISSED ALTOGETHER BY COMPANY GEOLOGISTS. I HAVE SPOKEN TO A HALF DOZEN GEOLOGISTS IN THE PAST YEAR ALONE FROM DIFFERENT COMPANIES WHO HAD NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF SOME OF THE RECORDED HISTORICAL INFORMATION CONCERNING SOME OF THEIR MINING CLAIMS. NOW I'M NOT SAYING SAGE IS UNAWARE OF SOME OF THE PAST RECORDED INFO THAT PERTAINS TO THEIR LAND, ONLY THAT WHAT I HAVE HERE I HAVE NOT SEEN IN THEIR FILINGS OR ON THEIR WEBSITE. ONE LAST THING- TAKE NOTICE ON THE KODIAK PRES. MAP, OF THE PAST MITTO SHOWING, NOW KODIAK LAND, AS THIS ONE TIME PROSPECT BRIEFLY HELD CLAIM TO THE ELMHIRST TOWNSHIP NORTH WEST.
