STG share price in year 2000

STG share price in year 2000Does anybody know why STG SP spiked to $4.0 in April 2000?
Why the share price came down sharply after the spikes?

I was trying to find company news and events around that time that lead to SP spikes and dives.
STG website has news only up to 2006. 

Any information in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
