LOAD RESTRICTIONS 2008
PUBLIC NOTICE # 4

Pursuant to Section 66 of the "Transportation Act" and to the provisions of the Commercial Transport Act notice is hereby given that effective 8:00 am, Monday, June 9, 2008 ALL LOAD RESTRICTIONS IN THE PEACE DISTRICT INCLUDING THE FORT NELSON AREA ARE HEREBY RESCINDED until further notice.

On behalf of the SYD Road Ltd. Partnership and the Ministry of Energy and Mines, effective 6:00 am Monday June 9, 2008, restrictions on the SYD Road will be raised to 100% legal axle loading. Further reviews will be carried out from that date with a view to lifting restrictions completely during the week beginning June 16, 2008. Further details regarding this restriction can be directed to Gerry Anderson at (604) 699-2928.

After 8:00 am, Monday, June 9, 2008, disregard all road weight restriction signs while they are in the process of being removed.
