RE: Clines Key Points....Wow....
Thanks jerrid.

I'll second that....WOW !!!!!

I especially liked the following statements:

New Elk has mining permits that, with slight revisions, should allow restarting of the

mine with minimal startup time.

The coal is low sulphur and, when properly washed, low in ash as well.   It has good

coking property and is classed as a high to medium volatile coking coal.

Not hard to see why the SP is moving up.

By the way, I don't care about any problems that previous operators had.   That was a whole different time...different coal demand...and different coal prices.    For all we know, they may have been financial strapped and couldn't upgrade equipment.  Hell, they sold this mine for peanuts...how bright were they?

Now demand has soared (and is still growing)...supply cannot keep up...many reports estimate that this trend will continue...coal prices are climbing...and Elk Creek is potentially close...very close...to producing high to medium volatile coking coal..

Klinenminen's previous post was especially good also.   Key points:
"CMK has not pre-hedged it's reserves"

"CMK's coal will sell at or near record high prices"

"CMK can have all the money it wants to extract coal simply by taking a tiny portion of its anticipated reserves and pre-selling it into futures contracts"

What an advantage CMK has on currently producing mines that have hedged thier reserves...and are not stuck with lower coal prices.

Ken...finalize the purchase...fast track the updates to the mine permit...fix the current issues at the mine...............or sell this thing.    Let's get this moving.

Not sure if there are any more items that must be finalized prior to the final purchase of Elk Creek....so we could see this NR any time IMHO.   When this happens...watch the SP.   I would think that we are getting to where momentum traders will begin sitting tight on thier shares in fear of being out when the NR hits.   Day traders may still play with CMK, but on thier own they may not have as much impact going forward.  Again...just my opinion.   Feeling more and more confident in this opinion all the time.    Every investor must weigh the possible downsides vs the possible upsides.   CMK certainly looks like a no-brainer.  Not many stocks have this kind of risk/reward potential IMHO.
