RE: good stuffI was speaking with a friend from school after I did a presentation on alternative energy who used to work on the East coast. She told me of a story about a town where cancer rates were very high and they blamed it on the wind farm nearby. I will ask her the name of the town on Thursday when I see her again. As I said before I haven't heard of these types of claims which is why I raise the question. I searched online and I have found the debatable topic of high power transmission lines causing cancer, but never anything about the turbines themselves. I didn't mean to cause you or anybody else any panic and I apologize if I did. She may have been refering to thoses high power transmission lines from the wind farm I don't know, her comment caught me off gaurd and I failed to ask.
Thank you to the posts who responded without trying to look further into my question than it really was. But I will try to be clearer next time to avoid any kind of controversy, I obviously dont post very often.
Here were a couple links to those articles and posts I just found regarding the cancer from high power transmission lines so nobody thinks I'm making that up either, again not bashing.
