RE: Surreal

RE: SurrealTo set next week into perspective lets emphasize that a number of financial gurus are forecasting that energy prices are poised to crater both NG and oil due to a perceived depletion in demand. It is a phenomenom that occurs when consumers ratchet back their usage of gasoline (oil) and natural gas (air conditioning) when they are fed up with paying the prices that have reached all time highs such as the condition we are in right now. I don't think prices can sustain in both arenas. To surmise that they will crater is a reach. Why? World wide demand is driving the price. Traditionally when prices topped the demand would send a message that consumers were tapped and thus demand would fall and with it prices. That thought may have kept TBE from seeing its shares run after a bullish re forcasting year end of Capex and 2008 exit production numbers. TBE did not blow up the company by announcing a revision to their spending. Cawston is cautious and methodical. He can always get the board to ratchet down the effort as to not overspend in a down market. They have some savvy board members i.e. Saunders Colborne,Starnino,Hruska. They are probably bullish as I am on the Montney but they will not ruin the company if NG prices crater. Simple as that.
