RE: Near 52 week lowIts a complete illusion to blame share price decline on the "irrational market" or, as another posters does, on "naked shorting". That's ridiculous! Which shorter in their right mind would attack a company whose money in the bank exceeds company value?
Once again: this is not a desperate exploration play. This is an established, fully-producing and highly
profitable gold mine with coffers of cash in the bank. Once again: show me one other company in this peer group whose recent months share price has done as poorly as ORV's . You can't. Matter of fact, I can show you a good selection of profitable gold producers who have risen even in this terrible market.
Nobody cares wether or not this management "has succesfully operated a mine". This stock is going down the dumpster as long as manegement does not come up with an outlook. Its outrageous of the firm to be unable to put out any NR for more than three month now and at the same time sending e-mails to shareholders. saying ORV doesn't care about the share price. The least these figures at ORV would have to do is:
1) deliver an update on the state of whatever plan they may have
2) set a clear deadline until which certain milestones would have to be achieved
3) I also don't approve at all for the fact that ORV do not address the dividend issue. That's unbelievable, given the cash situation here. Whatever they want to do in the future, I am convinced that room does easily exist to pay out a dividend of, say, 0.10$ (only 15% of their cash) any time. If only as a gesture to shareholders who have been patient for much too long. Plus the fact that share price would rise immediately upon such announcement.
