MagIndustries Corp is engaged in development and exploration of potash salt deposits. The company has two business units: MagMinerals and MagForestry. It is primarily engaged in the financing, developing and placing into production or operation of the projects such as potash plant, a potash exploration and eucalyptus plantation and chip mill. Geographically all the operations are functioned through the region of Canada.

They've got $100mm in the bank so no crisis. They've got Ameropa as a major partner. MAA took advantage of its strong position by opting not to force the financing into a weak market.

My guess is that Brazilians, Chinese, and Indians, would love to buy this project and loosen the control of the potash oligopoly. It's especially attractive for Brazil since it's right across the water. I think MAA could sell this at any time, but they think s/h will get more value from developing the project. My guess is that Chinese and Russians would also love to buy this project in order to preserve their oligopoly.
