RE: Cash flowGldblv that looks like a reasonable posting if it wasn't for the fact that for some reason PATs management do not seem to play any role of influence in your ponderings. Sure we all know that RIC are the operator and must have been in the drivers seat for a number of bad decisions being made around IG..
But firstly, you will be hard-pressed to show me any other Canadian gold miner in active commercial production whose SP has recently tanked as much as PAT's. Meanwhile RIC is holding up. Would you say that this is coincidence or, as Kerber has often put it, "the market is always right" ? Secondly, in the case of RIC underperforming wouldn't you think that it should have been PAT managements foremost responsibility to get on their back from day one and make sure that things improve? Could you show me what PAT HQ has actually achieved in the last two years? I am definitely not buying into the story of poor PAT guys who could not do anything just because they have only 45%. I think it was Tickle who recently came up with the very suitable picture of a house on fire and you owning 45% of it. Are you gonna let it burn down just because you are not the majority owner?
But that is what HQ have done, at the expense of PAT small shareholders and, to put it mildly, with the possibility of having a not-so-negative effect on parties like RIC and others.
PAT management have very little to show when it comes to their performance of the last two years.
If you don't belong to the group of whitewashers then you should be honest enoug to acknowledge this fact.
The big question is now wether there is any time left for PAT to catch up.
As for $3,00 share price, I never promoted that. Matter of fact, wasn't it Kerber who kept mentioning even higher targets? Tickle might have saved some of those classic postings.
