70 m grading 1.7% Cu, 133.9 g/t Ag, and 2.32% Zn..Sept. 17, 2008
Yale SAMPLES 70 metres averaging 1.70 % Cu, 133.9 g/t Ag and 2.32 % zn WITHIN LA VERDE GRANDE MINE, SONORA, MEXICO.
Yale Resources Ltd. (YLL:TSX-V) is pleased to report that sampling of the La Verde Grande South adit has returned an average grade of 1.70 % copper, 133.9 g/t silver, and 2.32 % zinc over a width of 70 metres. The sampling consisted of 14 vertical samples - averaging 2.08m in height - that are spaced every 5 metres along the northern wall of the adit that crosscuts the La Verde Grande Deposit, which is located 45 km northwest of Hermosillo in Sonora State, Mexico.
The La Verde Grande deposit is a flat-lying tabular body of replacement skarn-style mineralization that has been completely oxidized. Historic workings have defined the minimum extent of the deposit as between 60 and 75 metres wide, approximately 35 metres deep and a strike length of greater than 250 metres. The deposit remains open along strike.
The potential for the La Verde Grande deposit to contain significant high grade mineralization is demonstrated by sample 464456, which returned 1.94 % Cu, 600.0 g/t Ag, 4.66 % Zn and 0.49 g/t Au over a height of 2.3 m.
This latest sampling is part of an on-going work program designed to define the potential for significant tonnage at la Verde Grande. These new results add to the excellent results from the south side of the La Verde Grande South adit, which returned over a total length of 65 metres an average grade of 1.47 % Cu, 74.7 g/t Ag, and 1.71 % Zn from 13 samples averaging 2.08 m in height.
Ongoing work – results pending:
The ongoing sampling and mapping program at La Verde has included trenching over the surface exposures of the La Verde Grande deposit, measuring and sampling the large mineralized dumps at La Verde Grande, sampling the underground adit and surface exposures at the La Tescalama deposit as well as trenching over the newly discovered ‘Estructura Julio’, which may be related to the El Picacho target located approximately 1 km away along strike. Results are pending and will be reported when received.

All of the samples mentioned in this release were prepared and analyzed by ALS Chemex at their labs in Hermosillo and Vancouver and generally consisted of 2-4 kg of material. Gold analyses were performed by 30 gram fire assay with an AA finish. Silver, copper and zinc were analyzed as part of a multi-element ICP package using an aqua regia digestion; samples with more than 100 g/t silver, 1% copper and/or 1% zinc (over limit) were re-analyzed using ALS Chemex’s ‘ore grade’ detection limits.
