What Scotia is saying

What Scotia is saying"
M&A Activity to Increase

"A number of events have converged recently to create the perfect environment for a very active M&A market within the junior E&P space over the next year. Significant declines in stock values, with most trading well below NAVs, will likely create more shareholder activism. We also expect Canadian banks to introduce more restrictive lending practices following 2008 year-end reserve reports. This will likely push some of the debt levered firms into a sales process. In our opinion, exposure to resource plays like the Montney and/or Bakken will however be the primary driver for the initial phase of M&A activity."

Scotia likes TOG and Galleon. Can you add TBE to the list? Maybe? Who knows ask Jim Saunders. Forget that he treats TBE like his step child he loves OEX not sure about TBE. Cawston? Who knows...he's got "skin" in the game. Not lately but maybe in 2009. Expect to see TBE trading at this level for the rest of 2008. This stock is dead till next year.
