Aurcana Silver Corporation is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the exploration, development, and operation of natural resource properties. The Company’s development properties are the Revenue-Virginius mine (the Revenue-Virginius mine or Ouray), located in Ouray Colorado and held through the Company’s 100% owned United States subsidiary, Ouray Silver Mines, Inc. (OSMI) and the Shafter silver property (the Shafter Silver Project or Shafter), located in Presidio County, Texas and held Aurcana Silver Corporation. The Revenue-Virginius mine is located in southwestern Colorado about 5.5 miles southwest of the town of Ouray. Access to the mine site is via County Road 361. The Shafter Silver Project, which is 375 miles southeast of El Paso, in Presidio County, southwest Texas, within a historic mining district.

RE: Silver stream deal for shafter ?I think it's only a matter of time before silver takes off, then companies like Aurcana will be smelling as pretty as a rose.
Boy, we got the Shafter deal done just in time. There's no way SLW would have done the La Negra deal under the circumstances of the last few months. Then we'd be sitting with only La Negra and Rosario and given tanking that the prices of the base metals have taken, our stock price would probably be down below .15. Wait, we are down below .15! Oh, that's probably because Shafter only has close to 50 million ounces of silver and most of the mining infrastructure already in place. I'd venture to say that we may never again see bargains like this again in our lifetime.
