RE: Every little bit of positive news helps...

RE: Every little bit of positive news helps..."c'mon SLW, let's make a deal."

I remember several months ago someone on this board (can't remember who) posted that they had a conversation with Jack Barnes at AUN and he said that some of the large investors didn't like a certain deal that SLW was proposing, so they were looking at alternative means of obtaining the Shafter start-up financing. I think we might be better off financing the $25 mil. or whatever it is, if it's possible. That way all of the 3-4 million ounces of production a year is ours and we don't end up having to sell a half-million ounces or so a year to SLW at less than production costs. We'll see. Either way, AUN is a steal at this price and it's looking like the good days of moving up are coming back. What a relief with all my junior stocks to not see them going down day after day after day. What a depressing experience. I still have a long way to go to  get back to my cost basis on my stocks but at least it appears that we've turned the corner. Hopefully we'll be surprised at how quickly we move back up. It seems that the ask volume has definitely dried up and money seems to be starting to flow back into the junior resource sector.
