The coal deal was terribly bad timing, as they could have got it for 20 % of the price just a few months later, based on how Sherritt's price collapsed.

Its the debt issue that is now crucifying the company.
Re coal, HLB came out today and confirmed its contracted deliveries and prices for thermal coal for 2009.
This is a spot of very good news in an overall tepid market.
