anyway, i strongly suspect the fall in price is pretty much unrelated to the change of the legal corporate name of the entity. my hunch it is a little more related to the decline in the resource sector.
if ypou control the JV, you gain control of the drawdown rate on the reserve. this could have the same effect as increasing the reserves.
