RE: RE: RE: RE: Ian Telfer in I'm out!Itemus, that's funny!! Lost on about 15,000 shares before it went bust. With no warning at that!! Blast from the past. You win some you lose some.

In any event, this deal looks crappy in the short run for WGI shareholders. For people here to get a great return (200-500%) as oppose to a 20-30% short run return will take much much longer. Oliphant did it so he can start building an intermediate then a major. A one million oz producer according to him? It'll take some time and even more pain for retail investors. I wouldn't touch this firm until I know what is being produced and at what rates. The combination just messed everything right up.

Step one is to remove him from the Chair position so he can't control the $crewing over of retail investors. It's all about his dream and him being at the helm.  They are building a company for the future whereas many here were waiting for a $5.00 payday which was quite possible in 4 quarters of really good production numbers.

NGD wins here in the short run. They need cash badly to fund their new mine. My question to the board is this.......... why not wait a couple of quarters for the SP to rise with increased production? Why now? NGD is desperate so they could have waited. No one would have touched them knowing they required financing.  WGI on the other hand is a cash cow.

Finally, the new combined firm will have a major copper production as well. This does not bode well as the premium alloted to a pure play will be much higher.

The firms fit like a glove my arse!! This smells and I smell ego at the helm.

Good luck to the little guys in this one.
