TORONTO, Mar 17, 2009 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) --

Star Navigation Systems Group, Ltd (TSX-V: SNA), ("Star"), today filed a Notice of Dismissal of its lawsuit against Aeromechanical Services Ltd. (TSX-V: AMA), without prejudice, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Under the notice, Star continues to have the option of refiling the complaint against AMS for patent infringement of its U.S. Pat. No. 7,113,852 ("the '852 Patent) at a later date, for example, if AMS's sales improve in the future.
