RE: RE: "to go at it"I am currently reading Manchester's biography of Churchill. Their parliament and the rules are structured much differently than what we in the US are use to. There are reasons why Churchill wasn't liked before he said "we'll fight them on the beaches". He was incredibly ascerbic and insulting in his remarks to his opponents--but the rules allowed it.
Obama is a bright guy but his experience is that of a ward organizer. That's it. I suggest that rather than listen to his press conference you read the text on line. It allows you to think about sentences just after reading them and before another topic takes you off in another direction. Most of what he said is about hope--and little else unless you have confidence in Geithner.
