There were a lot of shares bought in the $7.00 range . Many of those investors were involved in the private placement and believed the share price would increase. They based their decision on the then economic conditions and merrits of the company and management. .... Things have changed in the economy .... Banks going under ... come on .... governments around the world bailing out banks and major corporations. Who would have thought this could happen.
Through all of this Wi-Lan's management has remained focused and dedicated to signing licensees and building this company. It has $100,000,000.00 in the bank and back log revenue of @ $ 140,000,000,00 +. No long term debt. It is cash flow positive. This company has a very strong balance sheet.
As the economy stabilizes I can't see why this company wouldn't rebound to levels higher than the pp. imho Wi-Lan is 2 to 3 times the company it was then. Statistics are that 90 percent of all court cases are settled out of court. I like those odds. The gang of 22 are running out of time.
