Lets start by assuming you're right and DeBeers does horde their diamonds, they aren't going to stop that practice. Not now, not ever. So the price of diamonds will never plummet to what their "true" value is. It's an artificial value in everything but reality. That's just the way it is, deal with it. They own the diamonds and they can do whatever they want with them. As for HW, I'll take millions of high quality white diamonds over a smattering coloured diamonds any day that ends in a y. If you have any share you'd like to sell me for 4 bucks I take em, heck I'll give you 4.25 just because I feel sorry for you.
