2009-06-01 20:46 ET - In the News

BrienLundin, in the May, 2009, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says holdBravo Venture Group Inc., recently 32 cents. Mr. Lundin said buy Bravoin March, 2005, at 32 cents, and in August, 2005, at 45 cents. He thensaid take some profits (sell half, perhaps) in March, 2006, at $1.37.Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the two buys, selling half at$1.37 would have yielded a profit of $2,570. He said buy four moretimes between September, 2006, and April, 2008, at prices ranging from39 cents to $1.52. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the fournew buys, and taking into account the remaining $1,000 investment afterthe previous half sale, the total $5,000 investment is now worth$2,677. The newsletter editor says Bravo has ventured into the oilservice business "in a round-about way." Oil services giant BakerHughes plans to drill for barite, a weighting agent for drilling fluidsin oil and gas exploration, from properties next to Bravo's ShoshonePediment gold project. Baker Hughes will keep the barite, give Bravothe gold, if there is any, and pay Bravo $25,000 a year plusmaintenance fees.
