RE: UUU "Defaults" (huh?) on its Option
RE: UUU "Defaults" (huh?) on its OptionOdd, indeed inappropriate to use the term "defaults". More accurate & usual is UUU choses not to exercise its option to acquire .... Default is appropriate whe one is in breach of duty as opposed to exercising a legal power or discretion.
I,m not just wordsmithing. Defaults connotes something bad, whereas choosing to not exercise an option will often, not always but often, be a wise decision. It may simply reflect the priorities of UUU & a decision to acquire U property in a different geographical area.
