Int'l Speculator refreshes Andina Minerals buy

2009-08-27 20:54 ET - In the News

TheInternational Speculator in its Aug. 3, 2009, issue, refreshes its buyof Andina Minerals Inc. at $1.44, officially, "Buy (in tranches)." Thenewsletter said buy three times between June 2, 2008, and June 1, 2009,at prices ranging from 74 cents to $3.94. Assuming an investment of$1,000 for each of the three buys, the $3,000 investment is worth$3,168. The Speculator's writer figures that not much is on sale thesedays, but Andina Minerals is, and with reason, "but more than itdeserves to be." The company has lots of cash, which is good, he says, because the warrants were set to expire by mid-August out of the money.Checking the press releases, he notes the company continues to advancewhat may be a 9.4-million-ounce gold deposit in Chile called Volcan. Anew resource is imminent, and a scoping study will show what it isworth by the fourth quarter. For those subscribers not long already, hesays buy a small first tranche of shares now, but watch for opportunityto build position at a lower price. "Stink bids" below $1 might getfilled on a really bad day for gold.
