Memories of the Titanic

Memories of the TitanicWe've got more damn icebergs on the sell side than the North Atlantic in May.

While it's never great for the stock price to confront a wall of unknown size, I take heart from the fact that buyers continue to take up shares at prices unseen before last Friday.

The demand is still there.  I guess it's not surprising that institutions sitting on sizeable gains want to realise some.  This kind of selling is not speaking to company prospects, but rather to cashing in.  And that's O.K.

Eventually the overhang will clear---I hope!

P.S.  Now that the World Series of baseball is upon us, did you know that Roger Maris led the league in strikeouts on his way to besting Babe Ruth's homerun record in 1961?
