Took a lot of digging but I found out why they've maintained the claim to the north of Dolliver Mountain... this report https://www.gov.ns.ca/natr/meb/data/ar/1987/ar_me_1987-215.pdf on page 38 - David Hatchette helped explore the area... interesting reading showing lots of gold found in surface till samples along with visible gold found panning in streams.  No historical producers in the area though.
