Gold fever returns to Asturias
Thecompany receives the first Canadian Orvana machinery equipment and goldmining to resume in Belmonte and Chambers by underground mining

The Canadian mining company Orvana Minerals Inc., the owner sincethe late summer of the goldfields Asturian Belmonte de Miranda andSalas, has already begun to deploy the machinery that will deepen theholdings of El Valle and Carles Boinás with the order to resumeproduction of gold in two mines that were shut down in 2006 by itsfirst owner.

The purpose of Orvana, Kinbauri sole shareholder, holder ofthe gold mines of Asturias, is to reach the ore in October and beginprocessing in early 2011.
Orvana Minerals Inc., listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange,won the gold holdings of Belmonte and Salas after launching a takeoverbid that allowed him to control 100% of Kinbauri Gold Corporation,which acquired ownership of two mining concessions Asturian to RioNarcea Gold Mines in 2007. Orvana sent the Toronto Stock Exchange in November that thetwo deposits of Belmonte and Chambers' have potential to be one of thelargest gold producers in Europe. The expected output will consist ofcopper-gold concentrates and 'bullion (gold bars with some copper).Orvana estimated that there are few resources at El Valle-Carlés Boinásand 1.27 million ounces of gold (39.41 tonnes) and 76 million pounds ofcopper (34,473 tonnes).
The holding will embark Orvana ground, unlike Rio Narcea GoldMines, which extracted 34 tonnes of gold between 1997 and 2006, butalmost entirely by surface mining.
