HoboInteresting point of view. A couple of thoughts. First, if majors think we won't get a permit, why would they even be hanging around. It'd be a waste of their time. Second, why would smart money throw over 100 mil in the CSI treasury if that were the case. The smart money has contact with the majors as well.

Lastly, I'm not sure how many locals are in the COOMISGAP but if your throw in their families, that 's a pretty big number of local people affected by the permit approval. Politically, denying the permit would bad for the local/regional guys in power as this project is a financial boon to the miners and their families. No matter where in the world, a politicians decision is based on one thing....what decision gives me better odds on getting re-elected. The local miners want  and need this project.
