The fact that the current ore body is small and the mine life limited with uncertainty over where the company will in a few years time makes this company undesirable from a takeover point of view and that in turn does affect the stock price today and into the foreseeable future.  

With that in mind I don't think it's unreasonable to wonder about any upside potential to the resource looking into the future. There's no shortage of other companies moving rapidly towards operating mines and I don't think it unreasonable to keep an open mind and compare this company to others to decide if this is the best place to keep some money in.
