Radiant Energy Corporation V.RDT

Radiant is the developer and marketer of Radiant Deicing Systems. Radiant's product is the only non-glycol based alternative approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration for the pre-flight ground deicing of aircraft. Aircraft deicing with Radiant's technology offers savings to airports and airlines over the use of conventional glycol-based deicing systems, reducing aircraft treatment costs.

RE: Patience...

RE: Patience...
I don't disagree that the company has been a  disappointment;  the previous self appointed CEO was a disaster whose only interest was pumping the stock he was giving himself, while leaving the rest of to suffer. I was lucky enough to get out  at 25 cents when he was in charge. I have since gotten back in a bit at much lower (obviously) pricing. I believe the new group there has finally purged the remnants of the old guard and understands what is at stake here.  They told me of the new NPRM from the EPA, that  requires that airports collect fluid runoff  if they spray more than 460,000 gallons; all the majors have quantities that high.  If they are over this threshold, they must pick up 60% of what they spray and confirm it to EPA.  If they stay under its only 20% they must pick up.  I can see the IR system being used as a way to keep under the threshold so airports can avoid the regulation and extra expense to pick up the higher amounts. My biggest concern is if they have enough capital to do it properly going forward.  Seems they were always on a  boot strap operation, and based on the last year or so press, they are hand to mouth again. Someone with some capital needs to buy what's left of this company before it disappears.  Maybe that is what they are headed to with the share re-org??  We will see.  What's unfortunate is that the airport deicing guys basically go into hibernation over the summer months, so it may have to wait for the Fall.
