We view Timmins Gold as a potential acquisition target for a junior gold producer active in

Mexico. This resource expansion is significant given the relatively limited mine life as

outlined by the current mine plan for the San Francisco gold mine. TMM is trading at a

significant discount to other junior gold producer, trading at 4.0x 2011E CFPS and 0.74x

P/NAV (5%, spot) compared with a junior producer average of 12.8x 2011E CFPS and

1.30x P/NAV (5%, spot). We value the shares of TMM based on a 1.0x multiple to our peak

gold price NAVPS (5%, US$1300/oz Au). We maintain our SPECULATIVE BUY

recommendation and target price of C$2.25 per share.
