Price Languishing

Price LanguishingIn my view there are two reasons for the current low and narrow range of stock price.

#1 - With the current aspect of consolidation "hanging in the air" but at an uncertain ratio, many people are playing the waiting game.  I take no position relative to the eventual wisdom of the consolidation move but it is a general belief that stock prices fall immediately following consolidation.  This belief is unfortunately supported by numerous incidences where such was exactly the case.   I am not selling my current position but I too would not add until consolidation is a done deal and we know exactly what ratio we are dealing with.

#2 - I suspect there are major players who want to get some sense of the actual acceptablility/marketability of this product in what for them is the "new" market of the U.S.   The effectiveness of the product is just one of the variables.  At the end of the day corporations need to know just how much penetration might be expected and at what profit.  Once that information becomes availability the reaction can range from "ho hum" to an agressive take-over.
