RE: RE: RE: AGM time, location, dateHi hrgagogo, kind of you to think that way, however any voting at the AGM is a foregone conclusion. The voting will be to: approve the FY 2009 statements, elect directors (we have no say), and appoint KPMG as auditor (we have no say).
The fun will be to see who shows up. I will listen to what they have to say with an open mind, I would encourage the representatives from Severstal to be honest, fair and take some flack for their shortcomings over the past year. Personally I would like to see all the BOD members who "fully supported" the takeover offer be DISMISSED as incompetent and just plain silly. I would like HRG to get back our millions we paid for useless reports prepared by shylocks to promote their (Severstal’s) truly stupid offer as well. One can always dream….
I am curious about Mr Matthews though, seems like a nice chap, but I don’t know what his HR background has to do with running a gold company, but who knows, maybe he has some backbone.
Hope more of the folks from Stockhouse will be going to be at the AGM. Wonder if there will be a lot of muscle in the room like last year!
