Long overdue, yes indeedy as USA has been ridiculously cheap and is still cheap even after the run up. There has been talk of consolidation in the silver valley, and I do believe that some large players attempt price suppression in order to make a low ball buyout offer seem attractive to frustrated longs. Did that happen here, I don't know, but to run like it did yesterday could certainly be explained by a large short position accumulated over time crumbling under its own weight. I've not seen a huge short position reported via the pinks, but I've never looked at the German markets, and for years many US companies have complained about shorting from Germany via listings they never wanted in the first place. Maybe it was something else, maybe a newsletter lit a spark that got moving ever faster by its own momentum. Positive in either case - and I didn't miss the bus - I got 860,000 tickets ;).
