My understanding of promotion and publicity is that it's best served with an actual product not just a promise of one.

Saw the same thing with the Grammy swag bag gag.  Saw the same thing the with the Virgin Megastore/Soundcage balk and yawn.

I don't think you have a full understanding how Nick and Co. operates.
