I was told there would be news weeks ago. Question is... Is/was that a lie?

I was also told that there would be regular forthcoming news releases?  Question is... Is/was that a lie?

This is not complaining as such, more so a fact that promises must be kept, and credibility by management must be improved upon.  Promise that!

Lucky, why do you call such unkept promises complaining?
