Just a note,
you won't send the core back to the lab for re-assaying, only the remaining core that was not assayed you will send to the lab for assaying, since the lab has the pulb from the first core that was assayed.
If the lab results where assayed in ppm per tone and not in % per ton then the lab will re-assay in % per tone to get proper sample results.
Also since (I assume) the results are good the company has to assay the rest of the core to get a better picture of the drill site.
Once you drilled you hole the core will be split in half and only one half of the core will send to the lab, the company has to keep the other half for proof.
