RE: RE: RE: RE: is it possible....

RE: RE: RE: RE: is it possible....Risky, you've provided some interesting thoughts here and many people have underestimated the power of the Hanlong group!  Do some research with the company and you'll realize that this group is about securing iron ore/moly for the long run and will make a significant impact to the China commodity sector.  Essentially, these guys are securing iron ore/moly supply as they want to become a major player in China!!

Hanlong Group is looking for acquisition and wants to acquire stakes in Australian companies to secure off take in key steel-making ingredients. Hanlong was planning to invest more than $5 billion and had already received significant support from banks for its expansion plans. Hanlong is expected to look at West Australia’s iron ore juniors and also make acquisitions in agriculture and renewable energy. In order to avoid supply-chain bottlenecks, Hanlong will look at funding road, rail and port infrastructure. Any funding for infrastructure will be in addition to the $5 billion already earmarked. Hanlong Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Liu Han did not provide a period for the proposed spending spree, however it is believed that Hanlong is looking at near-term production assets and hopes to make an acquisition soon. We are currently in negotiations with other mining companies around the world, he said.

China in the 21st century is a country adapting to new challenges and the great changes that the country has undergone since reform and opening up to the world in the 1980s. Chinese enterprises are maturing and gaining international experience and exposure to new markets and industries. Hanlong Group has been at the forefront of Chinese economic growth for the past two decades and I have been extremely fortunate to be a part of that growth.

As a business operator, one must have a sense of responsibility towards not only the company, but also a strong sense of social responsibility towards the wider community in which we work. I very much look forward to Hanlong Mining taking its place amongst the world’s finest companies and leading the way for Chinese enterprises in terms of corporate, social and environmental responsibility.
