Loophole

Loophole
I answered your question, RP, but you did not indicate I could not do another post and unleash my pent up potential novel writing skills.  Once a upon a time...

You may certainly correct me , but my take is that you buy a stock, believe it will increase and thus bring you a profit, and then sell. I have no idea of how you determine your sell point.
On the other hand, I dont really care if a stock goes up or down. What I am concerned with is trying to determine in advance, which way it is going to move and sell, buy , or hold as to make what I believe is the best  profit or least loss.
As I see it (and I stand to be corrected) you have no interest in selling a portion of your position, and then buying back in. Fair enough.

The main difference we have is in our perception of things like what constitutes dd.  Our individual understandings of what an NR actually says. If you read my posts you will see that they are usually challanging the poster as to their perception of something, but I understand how some can view that as bashing the company. After all if you challange someone's logic when they post a fact it is quite easy for them to infer one is bashing the company.

Just to lay out my beliefs.
1.The  Captain of the boat wil seldom tell you their is a leak, even when the boat is sinking.
2.NRs, because they almost always contain only good news, and are worded very carefully, can not be relied on to give a balanced picture of a company
3.People dont like to be wrong or lose money.. They want to get feedback that tells them they are smart, wise, and going to make a bundle.
4.There is no point in arguing into belief or predjudice. And if you think I dont see the irony in this by some of  my posts, I can only tell you there is a reason for it.

So endth chapter one.
