RE: surething1111 - Urgent RequestVictor,
The silence is certainly deafening, not just with regard to the recent price spike, but also the most recent filing of all things financial, that were put up for gleaning and wading through in December.
One could assume the powers that be are operating under any of the following, or possibly some other diabolical angle.
A. The less said the better
B. Silence is golden.
C. Never send a boy to do a man's job.
At first I thought, checks appearance at that other BB must mean his wife had seen the light of day, and given him the heave ho. As he's not seen fit to post on this BB it makes for all types of weird speculation.
As for the TA guru finding comfort in his TA, if you take him at face value, he has to be the most comfortable bag holder to ever grace these BB's.
The other poster you mentioned, let's not get started on him. My best bet is, he's been told that A, B and C all apply to him.
The recent price rise does seem to coincide with the much vaunted TA in this case, but as we have seen in the past, TA has little to do with share price direction on this stock. With such a thinly traded stock, and an NCIB in place, how hard could it be to paint a very rosy TA picture. IMO, you are right, the recent insider activity seems to be of the token variety. It looks good on paper, but doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
It appears from looking at the insider option expiration dates, there are 850,000 shares at a strike price of 0.35 due to expire on Mar. 08, 2011. These options were principally issued to RM, and Herb Brugh if memory serves me correctly.
Could it be that someone is generating an artificial market from which to off load these options? Is danny deadlock still bottom fishing? Did Equedia finish it's research? Insiders could also be wanting to capitalize on the 2,400,000 options at the strike of 0.34, and 2,300,000 options at the strike of 0.21, even though the latter two don't expire until 2015.
You are right in your concerns, this stock smells like fish, of the red herring variety.
The Company's funds appear to be dwindling. ( 6 million of it tied up until 2014.) It's mockery to be using funds to purchase this stock at these levels. Let's hope that many of the long term bag holders use this opportunity to cash out, and perhaps cut some of their losses. What possible reason could they have, for not doing so?
Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I still have my day job.............sometimes
Best
S
