bim/axi

bim/axi

Do not worry about  gramma and speling.  It is the ideas that are importunt.

I will try to be serious, but it is difficult to take to much of what is posted here seriously...and I see the irony in that.

The comparison between BIM/AxI as I recall focused on the amount of stock that was issued, and the infrastructure costs associated with BIM's bringing it into production. The comparative conclusions were that BIM was pretty much a dud and AXI a super winner.

When it came to discussing the comparitive financial strengths, ore grade and quality, or any of the other thngs that ultimately determine whether it is feasable to mine, there was not much to be said.

As to the proposed port at Roche.. As of a few weeks ago, frozen up worse than my wife when I forget her birthday

AXI has not, as far as I know (and I could be incorrect on this) being really working on the Roche Bay property for five years.  There was a very limited and short program, in 2006.(no drilling)  A more expanded program in 2007, and a bit larger one in 2008.  2009 and 2010 were pretty much just housekeeping from what I can tell. No drilling.
Apparently there are funds available this season to initiate drilling exploration on the Tuktu property.  My point in asking the distance (a socratian method of discussion because I know full well the answer and what the terrain is like) was hopefully to have people think about the claim of the port advantage and the other claim that BIM has disadvantages by having to move their ore. I say apparently , because financial statements are , unfortunately, rather limited in that they are not filed until months after they are prepared, and thus with changing conditions do not always accurately reflect the financial state of the company, which allows a company to issue NR's regarding private placements, funding agreements etc, without any of us actually knowing if or when, or even how much money is there.

If the grade of ore at Tuktu is no better than the grade so far found at Roche, transportation will become an issue, or alternately, it will have to be processed on site at Tuktu. I have never seen anything officially from the company in their plans to deal with these potential challanges.

The management in AXI has changed over the years with the exception of Mr. Gingerich and one or two others.
Whether the changes were positive or negative, I believe remains to be seen. Others, as I am sure you will see when you read, think they are pretty much the best of the best.

AXI, is in my opinion a bit unfocused for some reason, which I dont wish to speculate on right now, in that while they are working on the Roche bay property, they are also expending time and resources on other areas and I dont think they have the money or personnel resources to be doing that...but that is just my opinion.

I still hold a position in AXI from quite aways back when they first announced they again had money last year. Not as good a position as some at the time who bought in much lower, but generally low enough to have a comfortable exit plan.  And while I personally like the percentage sp fluctuations for trading, I am troubled by the recent quick spike and drop.  As someone posted, nothing within the company changed. It looks bad.  As to the people that quickly buy up on Monday morning or at the end of the day...Just the type of stock, and I dont think anyone who is serious is really fooled.

Good luck on your investment.
