Unethical behaviorI read Robert's message with great disappointment as he apparently rejoiced Mr. Curtis has joined the VDO board.
I found something really strange as I checked both VDO and RGX sites, none of them issued a PR that Mr. Michael Curtis has left the RGX board. It looks like you might have inside information that the rest of us do not have. May we know how you get this inside information? Please report this to TSX if this is a clear case of violation.
Also, Mr. Curtis clearly has violated the conflict of interest law as he now works for a competitor, but still officially remained as RGX director as I have not found any PR that he left RGX board.
Is this a violation reportable to TSX?
What is the view of the junior mining community on this?
Does the community care only about money that it is willing to throw away ethics just to make money?
Should VDO be so proud and so disregard of ethics to list a person who violated the conflict of interest as its new CEO?
Does the community think highly of this behavior?
Does TSX welcome and entertain this kind of unethical behavior?
I guess that Canada no longer view ethics important any more as even posters came out and rejoice that a person who violated code of ethics as their new CEO. Is this a decline of Canada ethics? Just read this:
https://www.globalethics.org/newsline/2010/11/01/mining-ethics/
I really wonder why VDO shareholders will not complain that when a traitor joined the VDO board as CEO while still remain as RGX director? If Mr. Curtis can do this to RGX today, he can certainly do the same when he see another opportunity in the future, and he will jump to another competing company while remain as the CEO of VDO. Does the Canada junior mining community really welcome and rejoice on this kind of unethical behavior?
Just check these:

Read the last link, it says that the following violated the conflict of interests, and apparently Mr. Curtis who served as a director of two competing companies violated the code of ethics. Does any company in Canada still want a person who clearly violated the ethical code to be their director and CEO? Think about it, do we really want this kind of behavior in this Canada junior mining industry?
Conflicts of Interest
Acting Against Clients
Acting for Two or More Clients, Joint Retainers
Conflicting Duties, Outside Interests
Conflicts Checking Systems
Conflicts of Interest, Withdrawal of Services
Joint Retainers in Mortgage and Real Estate Transactions
If TSX, Canada mining industry, RGX and VDO still want to maintain their integrity, both RGX and VDO should immediately release the duty of Mr. Curtis from both companies, and he should be barred from any further activities of both RGX and VDO.
