Art... their j/v in China was to build a plant to construct the equipment to produce the thin film. It's basically a chemical bath that allows the film to grow at room temperature without the costly hi heat, vaccum process now employed. Their business plan was to build and sell the LPD equipment along with a licensing agreement.
That's exactly what the CEO said when the subject of a j/v with Kodak came to light.
